ALIP
ROY.
Born in Khulna is an Independent Filmmaker from Bangladesh. His journey started in early 2013 with Italian and French filmmakers, while studying Graphic Design and Multimedia in Dhaka. He also worked with his brother as a co-producer. He started telling his own story in 2017. His work is usually based on real-life story. In 2018 he completed his another film in India. He is also showing his interest in clean energy and environment through his works.

Meherunnesa is a ten years old girl that lives by a rail tracks slum in the city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The train is a ticking clock for all human activities. When Meherun is not playing, she is selling jasmine necklaces at the local traffic light. On an ordinary day her destiny changes forever. But life continues inexorably under the shade of the night train.

“Debu”, is the story of an eight years old boy living in a remote village without the touch of electricity. TV fascinates Debu more than anything in the world and that takes him to the nearby village every day.This film links important of entertainment in child development and questions whether the process of doing development is homogeneous or centered approach.

ANTORODAN
Director
"Antorodan" is a hidden story of city life where groom denies to have child even his partner is expecting their first child because of straggling with his corporate life. At the end the situation makes him realizes that he cannot deny responsibility being a father from a taxi driver while coming back from office.

MOYLAWALA
Director & Producer
The Bengali Term 'Moylawala' refers to 'Garbage Collector'. Every day around 40 lac Moylawalas across Bangladesh are cleaning 'Unplanned urbanization' enduring stigma and ostracism. Moylawalas are often treated as low in social status and deprived of basic services. Paritosh is one of the Moylawalas living in a small town in the southern part of Bangladesh.

Students in BRAC schools are journaling their way to joy. The journals have been designed for students in grade four to practice self-care and mental wellbeing. Besides creating awareness on mental health, BRAC aims to integrate it in its curriculum.
